The Big Kaunas Walk

During this interesting and informative tour You will be guided through the main sites of Kaunas Old and New Town.  In addition , you will learn about  Kaunas and Lithuanian history from the Middle Ages to these days.  The guide will tell you the legend of Kaunas establishment, the city life in medieval times and Kaunas the temporary capital of Lithuania.

You will see and learn about: Kaunas Castle, St. George Church and Bernadine monastery, Bernadine nuns’ monastery, old market square (now – City Hall square), City Hall, Post station, dating back to XIX century, Vytautas the Great Church, House of Thunder and St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral Basilica, Presidential Palace, Central Bank and the Unity Square.

The exterior of the sights is presented during the tour, entrance to the sights is subject to availability
